James McAvoy Reveals 'Split' Is the Only Film That Consistently Pays Him
Actor James McAvoy has revealed that M. Night Shyamalan's 2016 thriller 'Split' is the only movie in his extensive career that consistently provides him with residual payments. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, McAvoy discussed the unique financial success of the low-budget horror film. The actor noted that while many films yield negligible checks or even amounts smaller than the postage cost, 'Split' turned a profit almost immediately after its opening weekend due to its modest $6 million production budget.
