Online fashion retailer Asos has warned its customers that hackers obtained far more detailed personal profiles than initially acknowledged. Following an investigation prompted by the BBC, the company confirmed that cyber criminals accessed names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, customer numbers, and specific search history. The breach, which first came to light when hackers sent unauthorized push notifications via the Asos app, exposes millions of users to heightened risks of targeted phishing and impersonation scams.
