Margherita Ferrari Talks Directorial Debut 'Föa' at Busan
Italian director Margherita Ferrari is presenting her debut feature film, 'Föa — Once Upon a Future,' at the Busan International Film Festival. The innovative coming-of-age drama also marks acclaimed filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino's debut as a producer. Set against the backdrop of the tragic July 2001 G8 summit clashes in Genoa, the film follows an 18-year-old pregnant woman who shelters three protesters. Sorrentino praised Ferrari for turning historical memory into an intimate, dreamlike experience.
