Samsung Wallet now unlocks select GM electric vehicles
Samsung Wallet users in the United States and Canada can now use their mobile devices to lock, unlock, and start select General Motors vehicles. This new capability relies on a secure digital key stored directly within the Samsung Wallet app. The initial rollout targets select Cadillac electric vehicles, including the 2025-2027 Lyriq, the 2026-2027 Optic, and the 2027 Vistiq. General Motors has indicated that additional vehicle models will gain compatibility with Samsung Wallet in the near future.
