AI Film ‘Gods Don’t Give Gifts’ Sets December Release and Oscar Bid
The AI studio Fable has delayed the theatrical release of the groundbreaking AI-generated anthology film “Gods Don’t Give Gifts” to December. Originally slated for late October, the new date aims to position the film squarely within the traditional Academy Awards campaign season. Created by YouTuber Gossip Goblin, the film consists of four anthology shorts that satirize humanity's complex relationship with artificial intelligence. The studio plans to submit the project for Best Animated Feature, testing the Academy's stance on generative AI in cinema.
