Woman Arrested in Philadelphia for Blocking Delivery Robot
A Philadelphia woman named Carolyn Marvin was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after intentionally blocking the path of an Uber delivery robot. Marvin refused to move out of the way when instructed by police officers at the scene. Marvin explained to local media that her actions were part of an ongoing protest against autonomous delivery machines. She believes these robots are actively taking jobs away from human delivery workers.
