James Gunn Defends 'Clayface' Movie Against Fan Criticism
DC Studios co-head James Gunn recently addressed social media criticism questioning the necessity of an upcoming 'Clayface' film. A user on Threads had challenged the project, asking who wanted a movie about the Batman villain. Gunn fired back by listing iconic films throughout history that nobody explicitly asked for beforehand, such as 'Back to the Future,' 'The Matrix,' and 'Casablanca.' He argued that relying solely on public polling for intellectual property is not the proper way to make cinema.
