Ascension Island: How a planting project created a lush cloud forest
In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, a unique territory called Ascension Island underwent a dramatic ecological transformation in the 19th century. This shift was largely driven by the efforts of British scientists Charles Darwin and Joseph Dalton Hooker.
