French Finance Minister Invites UK to Rejoin the EU
French finance minister Roland Lescure has invited Britain to fully return to the European Union following comments from Prime Minister Andy Burnham suggesting a future referendum is possible. Lescure emphasized that EU membership helps nations tackle global challenges together. The invitation comes amid concerns over the EU's upcoming 'Made In Europe' industrial scheme, which could impact British supply chains. Lescure stated that rejoining would give the UK a seat at the table to discuss such policies directly.
