Director Alex Gibney opened up about his new 3-hour-and-45-minute documentary centered on billionaire Elon Musk. In a recent interview, Gibney detailed his unsuccessful attempts to interview Musk and discussed Universal Pictures' initial hesitation regarding an international release. Despite reaching out through multiple channels, Musk declined to participate and publicly insulted the director on social media. Gibney also noted that many of Musk's associates refused to speak with the production team out of fear of losing Musk's approval.
