Adidas sues Australian label White Fox over four stripes design
German sportswear giant Adidas has taken legal action against Australian fast-fashion brand White Fox in the Federal Court of Australia. Adidas claims that White Fox's four-striped clothing and accessories infringe upon its iconic three-stripe trademark, which has been registered in the country since 1957. According to court documents, Adidas alleges that the Sydney-based retailer ignored repeated requests to halt the sale of these items since March. The sportswear brand argues that the four-stripe design is deceptively similar and exploits its established reputation, potentially misleading consumers into believing a partnership exists.
