Hidden Uranium Hotspot Discovered Beneath Aberdeen, Scotland
Researchers at the University of Aberdeen have made a fascinating geological discovery beneath the city of Aberdeen. They have identified a hidden 'uranium hotspot' that offers entirely new clues regarding the ancient geological history of Scotland. While the discovery sounds alarming, scientists emphasize its purely scientific value rather than any immediate environmental hazard. The hotspot acts as a window into deep geological time, helping researchers piece together tectonic and thermal events that shaped the region millions of years ago.
